A frequent comment we receive from (perhaps) over-zealous clients usually goes something like this: "The Denver market's in such a strange place right now - why would I ever want to stage this property?"

Well... here's why:

Short answer:

it's worth it.

A survey from the International Association of Home Staging Professionals revealed that staging helped boost the sale price an average of 20% and helped sell homes 3 to 30 times faster than non-staged properties.

Forbes says it's worth it:

According to Forbes Advisor, having a home professionally staged gives your listing the following advantages:

  • Help your listing stand out online

  • Make your home feel aspirational

  • Show ways to use extra rooms and funky floor plans

  • Increase the selling price

So does Investopedia.

A vast majority of buyers' agents (82%) say that "home staging makes it easier for prospective buyers to visualize the property as a future home." Moreover, staged homes sell more quickly ... much more quickly! Homes that are staged pre-listing sold in an average of 23 days versus an average of 143 days for un-staged homes. That's dramatic!

... and Angi does, too!

According to data collect by Angi, "staged homes typically sell for 20% more than their non-staged counterparts." What's more, research shows that staging results "in an additional 8 to 10% return on investment."
